Here is a Yamaha YFH-635ST Professional Flugelhorn, serial number 001416, dating to approximately 1986–1987. The 635ST was Yamaha’s former top-of-the-line professional flugelhorn and has developed a loyal following among serious jazz and commercial players.

The 635ST is known for its beautiful, warm, focused flugelhorn sound, excellent intonation, quick response, and the slightly smaller .413” bore that gives this model its distinctive French-style flugelhorn character. It also features the very useful third-valve trigger.
