Bach Stradavarius Mdl 184 Cornet ML Sn/ 511928

The Bach 184ML Stradivarius Series Bb Cornet follows the traditional shepherd’s crook short model design. The Shepherds crook bell design-provides a darker sound that is popular with British brass bands. The .459″ medium large bore promotes an ease of response. The one-piece hand-hammered professional bell produces a warm sound with ample projection. The clear lacquer finish provides a subtle warmth to the overall sound. The 1st valve trigger allows for quick and accurate adjustments. The 184ML cornet is a well rounded instrument at home in multiple musical settings.

Bach Cornet w/ shepherd’s crook (184) circa 2000. ML Lacquer

It’s in very good condition in lacquer.  Some previous, slight, bell dent work,  barely noticeable, even to me…but nothing that affects sound or performance. Valves and all slides move smooth, like butter.

Horn plays with that perfect cornet sound, warm and sweet, well centered with an easy blow. It comes with a Bach 3C mouthpiece & original case.
