Description

Benge 5X ML SN/  11802 even with the red rot in the leadpipe this horn really sounds beautiful.  Rumor is that you can get a replacement leadpipe from BAC in Kansas Talk To Kevin Stiles). They acquired the Kanstul’s machinery and stock when Kanstul went under in the earl 80’s.  There are many small dents and light scratches.  Don’t be mistaken………….. This horn is a Player!

Excellent playing commercial light weight horn. With the ML Bore, 5X flair on the bell and light weight body think Bach 72*/43 light weight.  These horns don’t get enough respect! This horn was manufactured late 1973 about a decade Benge’s before the move to East Lake Ohio under the watchful eye of Zig Kanstul. Everything is original. Great Valves , slides, and compression.  This horn has the conventional thumb hook.  Original Case / No Mpc
