Holy Grail Status: 1957 Vincent Bach Stradivarius Model 37 ML – Mt. Vernon (S/N 16198)
Here is an absolute stunning survivor from the golden era of Vincent Bach’s legendary craftsmanship. This is a 1957 Mt. Vernon Stradivarius featuring the iconic, highly coveted #37 bell paired with the quintessential ML (.459″) bore.
This horn is a true player’s and collector’s dream. It features a mostly raw brass finish and is exceptionally clean—no dents, dings, or trauma of any kind. Late-50s Mt. It slots beautifully and plays with an effortless buttery response.
Mechanically, this trumpet is a total knockout. The valves are in excellent condition with matching serial numbers stamped on both the top caps and the spring barrels, proving its complete original factory integrity. To top it off, this beautiful specimen comes housed in its gorgeous, original alligator-leather-style case which is a collector’s item on its own.
