Description

Previously owned with slight hand wear at the contact points, and just a few minor scratches and pings, this horn is as close to mint as you can get, and an excellent player as well! A recent Valve alignment was performed by Jon Ashcroft, Mercer Music in NJ

A Broadway hit and one of the most versatile trumpets you’ll ever play, the Model 1601 was designed by Kanstul Trumpet Artist Tim Wendt. Featuring a somewhat lighter weight bell, it was developed more like a “lead” trumpet and has the capability to fit perfectly into any performance situation and part assignment. Agile and efficient, and having an extensive range of tonal colors, this Signature model offers a consistent core of sound throughout all registers and dynamics, with a pitch center to match all its other outstanding performance characteristics. The Model 1601 easily matches and blends with other trumpets and trumpet players. Legendary Detroit trumpeter Marcus Belgrave plays this one as well.
