Description
Olds Mendez SN# 228149 (Circa 1955 Fullerton) F.E. Olds & Son manufactured one of the finest sounding trumpets of all time. They were durable and made to withstand abuse. Never were they the least expensive trumpet on the market, but then you usually get what you pay for! The Mendez horn was a copy of the famous French Besson, built in order to add to the lineup a signature model for this famous artist and Olds endorser.
The Mendez was also dubbed the M-5 in the 1960s and it is a medium-Large .460 bore.
This particular Mendez still plays exceptionally well but it’s appearance has seen better days.
No Case / No Mouthpiece
