This Artisan Bach 37 was manufactured sometime after 2010. Bach introduced the “Artisan” series that year, and these models use a dedicated, separate serial number sequence starting with the letter “A”.
Because the factory does not publish a public breakdown of these “A-prefix” serial numbers, a specific year cannot be assigned to A9567. However, because the Artisan line began at A2010 in 2010, and Bach manufactures a limited number of these professional instruments yearly, a serial number in the 9000s indicates the horn was likely built within the last several years.

- Bach Artisan: This refers to the Bach Stradivarius Artisan series (e.g., AB190 Bb or AC190 C trumpet). Originally created to fix the intonation inconsistencies of factory Bach trumpets, “Louisville Leadpipes” are swapped onto existing horns to instantly optimize response, slotting, and center the intonation. Performance Impact
Swapping a stock Artisan leadpipe for a Blackburn Louisville pipe radically changes how the horn blows. It preserves the rich, vintage core of the Artisan bell but offers the superior slots, crisp articulation, and effortless upper-register balance that Blackburn pipes are universally known for.
