Stunning Calicchio 1s/2 Copper S/n 5935  trumpet made by Chris Weik (Dom’s Grandson),  John Duda, and Joe Lintz. The  Serial Number  5935 reflects a manufacturer date in the  “Hollywood” era (1992-2003) #50XX – 7150.

Duda left the company sometime in 1992 and Domenick’s grandson Chris C. Weik became in charge of production. Stamped “Hollywood, California” on bell.
It’s an all copper horn, 2Pipe. It’s stamped 1s on the bell but it looks big (like the 3 bell) and it’s 5 1/8 Flair. It’s stamped ML on the valves but it seems to measure out to .462
at the tuning slide. The Tuning slide is a reverse configuration and it’s quite long. There’s no brace on the tuning slide. The 2nd slide has the male/female configuration.

It is a beautiful player with a dark warm tone perfect for the soloist.  No dents Dings or trauma.  No Case, No Mpc but I do have cases and mouthpiece (new and used) for sale
