This is a fine playing horn………………
According to ken Larson this horn had Carol Brass Valves (maybe from 10yr’s ago) and the Larson “O” pipe, Square tuning slide and a B&S sourced Mt Vernon replica 37 bell in yellow brass. It would have been a standard GFT of the time. Purchased at the NTC in George Mason University. ML bore with 2 adjustable diamond shaped braces and long bell tail ferrule, and an adjustable tuning slide brace. Side seam yellow brass bell, 2 piece valve cluster, stainless steel pistons, Instrument is in very excellent condition. Specially built for guys getting off from Monette trumpets. One of the best players in the HT shop! Raw Brass, no dents, dings, or trauma. More to come Stay Tuned!
