Olds Super S/n 152453 Manufactured in Los Angeles circa 1955. Large Bore (462), with a beautiful warm sound.

This horn is famous for it’s Nickel Silver Tone Control Band around the rim of the bell.  All of the outside slides are made of a hard drawn special nickel silver alloy.

All points of wear are also nickle silver making this horn incredibly durable.  This horn has an incredible tone.  With smooth valve action and great compression in the slides. This horn is in excellent shape, with a beautiful warm tone.  Rich Ita’s Brass Instrument Workshop did most of the cosmetic work on the horn.  Adjustable 3rd slide ring, but no  1st thumb saddle (Original Design) It is all original with no dents, dings, or trauma, ever on this vintage collectible trumpet that also happens to be a great player.
