Olds Super SN/ 9702 Circa 1941 Manufactured in Los Angeles.  Large Bore (462), with a beautiful warm sound.

This horn is famous for it’s Tone control Band around the rim of the bell.  All of the outside slides are made of a hard drawn special nickel silver alloy.

All points of wear are also nickle silver making this horn incredibly durable.  This horn has an incredible tone.  With smooth valve action and good compression in the slides. This horn is in just moderate shape, but with a beautiful tone.  The horn has been overhauled in its lifetime, but I can’t tell you who did the work. There is a very small patch right where the bell and the 3rd valve meet on the back side out of view.  It doesn’t affect the playing but I noticed it.
