THE “TWIN TUBE” DESIGN

The heart of the Concept TT is its unusual Twin Tube mouthpipe design.

Selmer engineered the mouthpipe specifically to produce a very open, responsive instrument with a strong, centered core. The design is one of the reasons these trumpets have such a distinctive playing personality.

The Concept TT has been described by players as:

The Concept TT was part of the later generation of Henri Selmer Paris professional trumpets and was produced for a relatively limited period. Selmer eventually discontinued its trumpet production, which means these horns aren’t being replaced with new examples.
