Released at the NAMM show 2013 in Anaheim California. The New Schilke Handcraft .468 Bore Newly Designed XL Bell and Valve Section. HC1 is Yellow brass bell. HC2 is a copper bell. Beautiful engraving on either bell. Think Martin Committee and you’ll have a good idea of what to expect from these horns. And Why not? Renold Schilke (who always claimed the horn was designed by a committee of one, him) $2945 for either Silver plating or Lacquer. Add $1700 for Gold Plating. Add $300 for Tuning bell The Video Clips below were from The 2013 NAMM show I know the High, Fast, And Loud, stuff is obnoxious but Schilke wanted me to show the different palette of tonal colors these new Handcraft horns can get Here’s the YouTube.
